PUTS(3S) UNIX Programmer's Manual PUTS(3S) NAME puts, fputs - put a string on a stream SYNOPSIS #include puts(s) char *s; fputs(s, stream) char *s; FILE *stream; DESCRIPTION _P_u_t_s copies the null-terminated string _s to the standard output stream stdout and appends a newline character. _F_p_u_t_s copies the null-terminated string _s to the named out- put _s_t_r_e_a_m. Neither routine copies the terminal null character.
