GETWD(3) UNIX Programmer's Manual GETWD(3) NAME getwd - get current working directory pathname SYNOPSIS char *getwd(pathname) char *pathname; DESCRIPTION _G_e_t_w_d copies the absolute pathname of the current working directory to _p_a_t_h_n_a_m_e and returns a pointer to the result. LIMITATIONS Maximum pathname length is MAXPATHLEN characters (1024), as defined in <_s_y_s/_p_a_r_a_m._h>.
